Hello, I'm Alicia ...

Writer | Storyteller | Technical Communicator

A little bit about me.

I’m a writer who enjoys both storytelling and technical communication. I like taking complicated ideas and turning them into something clear, easy to follow, and genuinely enjoyable to read.

I’m also passionate about math, but in a way that feels different from writing. Math has always felt like a puzzle to me, I enjoy noticing patterns, figuring out how things connect, and getting that little spark of satisfaction when a problem finally makes sense. It’s less about numbers and more about that feeling of solving something.

That way of thinking and problem solving shows up in my writing too. It helps me break ideas down, stay organized, and explain things in a way that feels simple and human.

Outside of writing, I’m someone who loves staying active and being part of a team. I’ve played ringette for almost my entire life, and sports have always been the place where I feel grounded, energized, and connected.

I’m also someone who loves learning for the sake of learning, I live for the moments where you think “I wonder if I could do that,” and then you just… try. That’s how I ended up learning to juggle. I didn’t need a reason; I just wanted to see if I could. And honestly, that’s kind of how I move through life.

I’m a silly, warm‑hearted person who laughs easily, finds joy in everyday chaos, and doesn’t mind being the one who brings a bit of lightness into a room.

These are the things that shape how I approach my work and my writing.
